I certify that the participant is physically able to participate in showcase activities. In the event of an emergency, I authorize medical treatment deemed necessary by qualified medical personnel. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
I understand that participation in baseball and softball showcase activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to serious bodily injury, illness, permanent disability, paralysis, property damage, and death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in an RC Prospects Showcase. I release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue RC Prospects, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, partners, facility operators, instructors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of participation in the showcase.
I grant RC Prospects the irrevocable right to photograph, video record, livestream, and otherwise record the participant and to use the participant's name, image, voice, likeness, athletic performance, statistics, and biographical information in connection with RC Prospects events and services. This permission includes use on RC Prospects websites, player profiles, recruiting materials, social media, event coverage, broadcasts, highlight videos, marketing materials, advertisements, and future event promotions without compensation.
I understand that participation in public events may expose participants to communicable diseases. I voluntarily assume the risks associated with such exposure and release RC Prospects from related claims to the extent permitted by applicable law.
